Biography My name is Niek Vos, born at 21 December 1991. On my third I already was interested in Formula 1 and specially Jean Alesi. In 1996 I visited Speed & Design in Utrecht where I became really interested in Karting this was because of the son of Olaf Mol (Dutch Formula 1 presentator), when in 1997 a indoor track Hippo Kart Club. in Hippolythushoef opened, I started driving (I was five). I started driving with a BIZ kart with a 120cc Honda engine, then take the step to 160cc and then to 200cc, with al three the engines I made track records. In march 1999 I started driving outdoor, this time with a Rainbow Kombikart, Honda cadet 160cc. In 2001 Energy/TKP asked me to drive with a Energy Cadetti chassis. With these karts I race in races from Chrono Karting, Karting Events, Kartbaan Uitgeest, Clubraces KCNN and the Drei Lander Pokal (Germany) I drove my first race at 19 December 1999, two days before I became 8. With 21 racers on a wet track, I became second. In 2000 I had very much bad luck (I think) but in 2001 I got good results. In 2002 I became champion with not the fastest engine in the field, I did this due driving good and consistent. I won 3 championships that year. In 2003 I went to the Rotax Max Juniors but I was only 11 when I drove my first race, I drove that year with much champions and I could stay in the top (some races I was) but due to much bad luck and mechanical things I finished only 7th in the championship. The year 2004 was pretty good I finished a few races at the podium. But I still had much problems and bad luck. But I became the Dutch champion. In the year 2004 TKP asked me to drive 2 JICA races. In 2005 I drove Euro Challenge races where I finished 10th in championship and third in the fourth round at Genk. I became second in the Chrono championship. And became Dutch Champion again. And because I became Dutch Champion I was allowed to drive the Grand Finals in Lankawi, Malaysia. This year (2006), I raced in the Dutch championship, Chrono Championship and the Euro Challenge.
